BAR FACILITIES & GEORGIAN ROOM:
If you require alcohol/bar facilities
these must be arranged via our Bar Tenant at the bar or on 01491 613101
CATERING:
In house catering is not normally
provided but you can bring in your own caterers or prepare your own food
using our sizeable and well equipped kitchen.

Community use remains special to the WMC – we
want the function room to be at the heart of town activities and available
for local groups at advantageous rates, with savings if you are a member of,
or join, the club. For further information phone the WMC office (01491
613972) or email the WMC.
Members, non-members
and all organisations are welcome to hire the
function and meeting rooms for private and public events. The new hall can
seat up to 100 people and can be serviced by the kitchen and Georgian room
bar if you require.

Don’t forget that as well as the formal dinners
and parties shown here, we host jumble sales, theatre groups (see the
archive), dance classes, darts tournaments – and a wide variety of
community, local and not-so-local events!

If you would
like to book the Function Hall:
1. Check Hall availability
from the Booking Diary
2. If you want bar facilities
(including the Georgian Room) you will need to speak to the Bar Tenant on
613101
3. Telephone our Bookings
Secretary on 613972 who will hold your booking for 7 days pending receipt
of the completed booking form (recommended if the date of your event is
fairly soon)
4. Send your completed
booking form and your cheque for the entire
booking and a separate cheque for the deposit the
Bookings Secretary at the address given on the Booking form, marking your
envelope “Event Booking”.
You may also deliver your booking to the bar but collections from the
bar are normally made once a week. You
may complete the booking form and email it but please remember your booking will only be confirmed when your booking form is returned
to you duly acknowledged and your cheques (made
payable to "Watlington Memorial Club") for the deposit and full
payment have been received. Please be advised that the Watlington
Memorial Club cannot be held responsible for any event which you may organise without complying with these requirements.
